Psychologist Invents Learning System that Integrates Seamlessly into YouTube Videos

Twice Exceptional Academy is excited to report that years of research have resulted in a fully-granted patent. We all know how much kids love to watch YouTube videos (and also how challenging it is to get them off the screen in order to learn!) What if it were possible to have the best of both worlds? It now is.

The patented method addresses a major societal problem. Children are spending an enormous amount of time on screens, without receiving any educational benefit for doing so. When compared to 20 years ago, kid’s reading proficiency levels are down massively. Today, only one in three American kids are proficient readers. The research has pinned down the culprit: entertainment screen time is at an all-time high (which takes kids away from the learning activities that used to fuel their intellectual growth). Without specific action, this could have a devastating impact on our future. Everywhere we go, we see kids on screens. But the screens are only filled with entertainment. Until now.

Outreach is currently underway, to a specific children’s YouTuber, that my son loves. These talented folks have created the most popular entertainment programming on the planet.
